dibbledog had a booth at the Whisker Walk yesterday in Lancaster, MA. We've never seen so many dogs, so many different kinds of dogs in one place. A spotted Great Dane, baying foxhound, unusual mutt combinations, tiny dogs, fat dogs, skinny dogs, sad dogs, happy dogs, tripods, lots of Labs and Golden Retrievers, and Jack Russells. And the tongue of every single dog we saw was hanging out as far as it would go. It was about 95 degrees. H, H, H. The pond wasn't much help: Someone said a snapping turtle lived there, so no dog or human ventured beyond the fence. Things have been quiet in the news dept. and we won't be sending out another newsletter until June. We did well at the Boston Gift Show, and from May 18 - 21st Sarah and I will be at the National Stationery Show in NYC. Meanwhile, check back soon for a lot of new pictures of dogs. We've been getting ready for the Boston Gift Show - April 5 - 8. Five more days to go. Lots of new designs, but you'll have to wait to see them here. Too busy with other stuff. This is dibbledog's first big show, and we're very excited! The next Newsletter will be late, but then we'll get back on the every other week schedule. Stay tuned.

All kinds of exciting things are going on in the doghouses of dibbledog. PigDog's Birthday Bash was a big hit. Yowwwwwl!! Over sixty people turned up at the Northshire Bookstore in Manchester, VT to visit PigDog's tattoo parlor, draw the characters, play Bobster the Lobster pots, and meet the pointy nosed masked guy himself. He was late, as usual. Soon we'll post some photos. Now we're getting ready for the upcoming Boston Gift Show. Working on the booth, figuring out what new t shirts we're going to do, and Anna's cranking out new card designs. It's been pretty quiet around here at the site, but in a few weeks there will be new stuff to bark about.

The news last Sat was that old Phil didn't see his shadow. But at least we can console ourselves with Valentine's Day. Bring your Valentine to PigDog's Birthday Bash at the Northshire Bookstore. Everyone will wear a mask, draw a weird animal or two, get tattooed by Heather Ishu, and dance around the room with PigDog. Prizes, cookies, games. You might even MEET a new Valentine if you attend this special event. Remember: It's FEBRUARY, but the day's are getting longer.

PigDog's birthday is coming right up. February 9th at the Northshire Bookstore in Manchester, Vermont. From 11 - 12:15. PigDog himself will spend the morning being bad (his birthday happens to fall on the Official Bad Dog Day. Go figure.) and then he plans on arriving at the bookstore to greet all his birthday guests and eat food. Lots of dibbledog stuff will be there for sale. Games! Drawing! Tattoos! Fun! Be there or be square.

PigDog's in Park City, sniffing around and trying to spot famous canines. He's found one Dog Movie called 'Dog Lovers' which he thinks is funnier than a cat on dog food. Passing out PigDog and FrogHog stickers. Lots of tail waggin goin on.

2008 is already zooming along and in two shakes of a poodle's tail it will be February 9th, and PigDog's Birthday! Nobody - including P.D. himself - has a clue how old the mask dog is, but who really cares? The main thing is the celebration, and the Northshire Bookstore in Manchester, Vermont is kindly hosting PIGDOG'S BIRTHDAY BASH at 11 A.M. on February 9th. It'll be from 11 to 12:15 and PigDog is praying to the Dog God Sirius for lots of rain and thunder so all the skiiers will flock to the bookstore with arms full of wonderful presents.
