‘dibbledog’ is a Vermont-based graphic Bestiary of witty dogs and other animals - some fictional, some modeling people clothes, some in birthday suits - all in jazzy colors and printed on a special collection of paper, ceramic, and plush products. ‘dibbledog’ is an Animal Marketplace, designed for both retail and wholesale customers world wide. Our target audience feels very much at home in the humorous and edgy side of life.
OUR STORY:
'dibbledog' showcases the fantastic animal art of Anna Dibble, native Vermont painter and cartoonist. For 30 years she has exhibited strange 2D and 3D beasts in fine art galleries; published illustrations in books, magazines and newspapers; designed sets for operas and plays; and created characters for licensing programs. Her colorful career also includes years of working as an artist and writer in L.A. and NYC for world famous film and TV animation studios, including Disney, Marvel, Hanna Barbera, and Sesame Street. The ‘dibbledog’ menagerie began in Dibble’s wild imagination, and it continues to bring together her love of comics, natural history and folklore. In the fall of 2007, Sarah Ishu - former owner of HG Graphics, and humor writer - joined Dibble in a partnership to launch the new 'dibbledog' adventure.

For the cartoon-style animals – Wacky Wildlife and PigDog & Friends: Pen, ink and water based paints; For Dibble Dogs: Oil and wax on paper or wood panel, 3D collages made directly on a scanner bed, or mixed media on paper: oil and water soluble pastels mixed with water based paints and graphite.
